There are 4 rivers in Dighalia upazila.
1. Atai River
2. Bhairab river
3. Majudkhali river and
4. Chitra river.
The rivers have filled up and lost their previous navigability. However, hilsa and big pangas fish are still available in many places during the monsoon season.
