Sports and recreation
Football and cricket are regularly played at Dighalia Upazila Parishad ground. Every year rural sports are organized in this field. Besides, Bangabandhu and Bangamata football tournaments are organized every year. Different types of cricket and football leagues are organized by different club-organizations in the upazila at different times of the year. Besides, seasonal sports are organized at village level in almost all parts of Dighalia Upazila at different times of the year.
